Care & service

Your data stays with you.

This policy is short because there is very little to disclose: VARNI is a demonstration storefront, and everything it remembers lives in your own browser.

Last updated August 2026

The short version

VARNI has no server, no database and no user accounts. Everything you do here — filling a bag, saving a wishlist, "signing in" — is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted anywhere. Close the tab and it waits for you; clear your browser data and it is gone.

What we store, and where

The site keeps a handful of entries in your browser's local storage, on your device only:

varni:bag

The pieces in your bag, with their configurations and sizes.

varni:wishlist

The pieces you have saved with the heart.

varni:ring-size

Your preferred ring size, if you saved one.

varni:profile

The name and email you typed on the account page, if you created a demo profile.

None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. There is no "us" to send it to — this demo has no backend.

What we don't do

  • No analytics, and no tracking pixels.
  • No third-party cookies, ad-tech or fingerprinting.
  • No email is ever sent — the contact form and demo sign-in are visual only.
  • No third-party requests at runtime: fonts and the 3D engine are bundled and rendered on your device.

Clearing your data

Signing out on the account page removes your demo profile while keeping your bag and wishlist. To remove everything, clear this site's data in your browser settings — the entries listed above are all there is.

If VARNI were a real store

A production storefront would name its legal entity and data controller, its governing jurisdiction [jurisdiction placeholder], the lawful bases for processing orders and payments, retention periods, and your rights of access and erasure. This demo processes nothing, so those clauses would be theatre — we would rather be plainly honest than impressively vague.
